Orange wine festival 2015
Orange has become the fourth wine colour.
Orange wines are essentially white wines produced by using red wine production techniques with prolonged maceration time, meaning the grape skins are kept in contact with the must longer. The production of such wines is generally eco-friendly, and in some cases even ecological.
On Monday, 16th November 2015, we are kindly inviting you to Vienna to the most thorough confrontation with orange wines. 84 Winemakers from Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Germany, France, Spain, Czech Republic and Slovakia will be presenting their wines.
The wine tasting will be accompanied by gourmet food.

in the Brda soil deposited on the surface of the hills by ancient oceans. Wind, rain and sun have ground, washed and heated it for thousands of years. The result is opoka, a soil rich in minerals from the Earth’s ancient history, which enables us to produce unique wines with a recognizable terroir.
in traditional winemaking methods. Experience has taught us to apply only natural methods to vine cultivation, and not to use irrigation, artificial fertilisers or insecticides. Only humus. This makes the plants use the maximum amount of water and minerals, so they become more resistant and produce healthy and complex grapes, which gives wine elegance and nobility.
