in the power of nature. In Brda, it created the ideal climatic conditions for growing vines. In the Primorska region, the sun generously warms and the warm wind caresses the curves of the Goriška Brda hills. Our vines are carefully selected and grown according to traditional methods.
in the Brda soil deposited on the surface of the hills by ancient oceans. Wind, rain and sun have ground, washed and heated it for thousands of years. The result is opoka, a soil rich in minerals from the Earth’s ancient history, which enables us to produce unique wines with a recognizable terroir.
in traditional winemaking methods. Experience has taught us to apply only natural methods to vine cultivation, and not to use irrigation, artificial fertilisers or insecticides. Only humus. This makes the plants use the maximum amount of water and minerals, so they become more resistant and produce healthy and complex grapes, which gives wine elegance and nobility.
